    The main hurdles faced by SMEs as they go through digital transformation are lack of expertise, business capital, and time. To this end, the Singapore government established the Productivity Solutions Grant in April 2018 to support companies keen to adopt IT solutions and equipment to optimize business processes.\"\"Specific industries covered by PSG include retail, food, logistics, precision engineering, construction, and landscaping. In addition to industry-specific solutions, PSG supports the adoption of cross-industry solutions such as customer management, data analysis, financial management, and inventory tracking.<\/p>\n

    These solutions have been pre-determined by various government agencies such as Enterprise Singapore (ESG), National Environment Agency (NEA), and Singapore Tourism Board (STB).<\/p>\n

    The scheme grant is capped at\u00a0S$30,000\u00a0<\/strong>per financial year. From April 1, 2022, the highest support level will be at\u00a070%. For eligible pre-determined solutions in the food service and retail industries, the government provides an additional\u00a010%\u00a0of the maximum level of support, or\u00a080%, until 31 March 2023.<\/p>\n

    Today and in the future, companies that have a strong business foundation and strategy, adopt advanced technologies and innovative processes, ad expand their overseas presence will thrive.The Enterprise Development Grant is designed to help local companies in Singapore grow and transform successfully. The grant funds eligible project costs, namely third-party consulting fees, software and equipment, and in-house labor costs.EDG-supported projects can help in three ways:<\/p>\n

Expand the business further by co-innovating and testing solutions with international counterparts.As part of an expanding global network, Singapore currently has partnerships with the Eureka Network, France, Germany, Israel, the UK, Jiangsu, China, Shanghai, and Zhejiang. Through joint conference calls, local companies can reach out to potential partners and jointly develop new technologies and projects with foreign companies. Singapore companies and their project partners\u00a0must submit joint proposals to their respective funding agencies\u00a0<\/strong>during the application period to be eligible.<\/p>\n

    Workforce Transformation<\/strong>: SkillsFutureSingapore (SSG), Job Redesign Programme, Career Switching Programme etc. Training courses aligned with various industry skills frameworks provided by Workforce Singapore (WSG)<\/p>\n

    To encourage employers to undertake both enterprise and workforce transformation programmes,\u00a0the S$3,000 credit\u00a0<\/strong>can only be used for workforce transformation programmes.     LEAD provides reimbursement of\u00a0up to 70%<\/strong>\u00a0of eligible costs for eligible projects, including labor-related costs, equipment and materials, professional services, business development costs, and intellectual property costs.<\/p>\n

    High-impact and multi-TAC collaborative projects can receive\u00a0up to 90%\u00a0<\/strong>support. Models for multi-TAC partnerships include collaboration within and across industries, or alliances where large TACs take the initiative to engage and support smaller TACs to achieve common outcomes.<\/p>\n

    Application conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n

    LEAD applies only to trade associations and chambers of commerce TAC, which include Singapore registered associations, professional bodies, employers’ unions, overseas chambers of commerce, and companies limited by guarantee.<\/p>\n

    The TAC must also meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n

    Represents a key industry (i.e. an industry that contributes significantly to the economy, has good export potential, and a strong employment scale)<\/p>\n

    Has a large membership representing the industry<\/p>\n

    Proven track record in helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs)<\/p>\n

    The proposed project must be started at the time of application<\/p>\n
